Redesigning Heirloom Jewellery
At Carla Maxine we love assisting clients in re-designing heirloom pieces of jewellery. We all have those special pieces of jewellery, passed down to you by your grandmother, sitting in the back of the safe. You’d love to wear it and be reminded of that incredibly special bond. But it’s just not your style, or it’s so vintage, one or two of the claws are broken off or a diamond is chipped. (Yes, this can happen.)
We love helping you give these pieces a new life. Be it restoration or a completely new and contemporary look, we’d love for you to get that piece out of the safe and start wearing it.
The Heirloom Re-design Process

We examine the items you would like to turn into a new piece of jewellery.

I create a design for your approval. Once confirmed, we pop the stones out of the metal.*

The finished piece is carefully cast, finished off and the stones are set.
*Please note at Carla Maxine we are unable to use your old metal for the new piece. The metal will be sent for refinement, and the credit will be put towards creating your new piece.
