Each station in the bracelet is set with a birthstone representing someone cherished: the wife, the husband, their four children, and their first four grandchildren. This commission was particularly close to my heart. These clients are the parents of my dearest friend, and I spent so much of my early adulthood in their home — watching their partnership in motion, witnessing the way they love, host, raise, and support. It was an honour to be asked to create something to mark their 40th year together.
