This is the second pair of earrings I have created in this porcelain series, and I have to say, it is such a joy working with these materials. Each vintage plate brings something completely different to the design, from the colour and pattern to the curve of the porcelain itself.

This piece began with a treasured heirloom. My client came to me with her grandmother’s tourmaline necklace, along with a vintage diamond ring her and her husband had bought on a special trip overseas. She wanted to honour both pieces by bringing them together into something entirely new.

My client first came to me in 2019, bringing along an heirloom Australian Sapphire. Together, we created a unique cluster ring that captured its deep blue hues, accented by pops of green and light blue for extra radiance.

This 18ct Yellow Gold Station Bracelet was created to honour a truly remarkable milestone: forty years of love, partnership, and family. Commissioned as a 40th wedding anniversary gift, it holds more than precious stones — it holds the story of a family, woven together through generations.

These clients came to me with this incredible Australian Sapphire – specially cut by Doug Menadue from Bespoke Gems. They wanted something that was a bit out of the ordinary, but still with a hint to the classics. We played around with a couple designs, but finally settled on this hybrid of Marquise Diamonds and White Diamonds, splashed out in an elegant array around the centre Sapphire.

This client approached me in the middle of the first Covid Lockdown in Sydney. In a time that a lot of people were feeling uncertain of the future, he was resolute and so excited to create this beautiful piece. He told me how, to him, his partner is like the Milky Way, free spirited and shining brightly. He wanted to convey this and her love of travel in the ring.

This incredibly beautiful bright Watermelon Tourmaline inspired me to use Emeralds to compliment the intense green on the one side of this magnificent gemstone. This ring also has an incredible story behind it – a terrible accident, an injury, recovery, and a big birthday surprise.

A Champagne and Cognac Diamond celebration. My client and I worked together to create this stunning minimalist statement for his partner at the end of last year. All set in 18ct Rose Gold, a beautifully subtle coloured metal that compliments the Cognac and Champagne diamonds so beautifully.

This stunning clear Emerald Cut Bicolour Tourmaline was expertly recut by Doug Menadue of Bespoke Gems. This ring had such a journey, and makes me so grateful for incredibly kind and patient clients like these.

A twist on a classic. The Princess Cut cluster was such a beautifully challenging project. I needed to create one of my clusters, using solely Princess Cut Diamonds. It was tricky in the sense that I needed to control the negative space the princess cuts were making very carefully.

This client came to me with this stunning Concave cut Swiss Blue Topaz from her personal collection. She had a pretty clear idea of what she wanted - and that she wanted this beautiful electric Blue stone set in Rose Gold.

I had the pleasure of designing one of my close friend’s engagement ring. The yellow and the grey is what came to mind immediately when her partner reached out to me about a ring. Her partner liked my Hybrid rings, so I created this amalgamation of light and dark in one of my signature hybrid cluster designs.

I love working with a client’s box of treasures. This particular box held a collection of special, sentimental pieces. My client wanted a ring she could wear so that she could behold and appreciate these special elements on a daily basis.

I spent a couple of weeks just staring at this exquisite Padparadscha Sapphire. Expertly cleaned up in terms of its cut by Doug Menadue at Bespoke Gems, it is now shining in all its fiery glory amongst smaller Padparadscha Sapphires, which mind you, was like finding a needle in the haystack of the world. But I found them! And look at the fiery celebration they create.

‘Zubenelgenubi’ – a Tennis Bracelet of dreams. Zubenelgenubi is the brightest star in the Libra Constellation. This Tennis Bracelet of Dreams was commissioned as a special birthday gift for one extraordinary Libra. Over 11 carats of Diamonds, including Fancy Coloured Diamonds sprinkled throughout.

This incredible ring was such a fun collaboration between my clients, Pieces of Eight Gallery and myself. They came to me with this stunning Natural Peach Champagne Sapphire from Sri Lanka, and asked me to design one of my asymmetrical halo rings.

I created the Terra Firma range of wedding bands exactly for this purpose – to tell the story of a couple whose history is deeply rooted in the earth that surrounds them. These clients wanted to capture the story of their life in this wedding band – from where they met in Stellenbosch (South Africa), to their family farm in the Karoo (South Afria), all the way to Vancouver (Canada) where they live together these days.

To begin telling the story of my own Engagement Ring, I have to start with a little history about my partner and I. He used to work in the diamond cutting industry. So he had a fair bit of knowledge on diamonds. And I have worked for some fine jewellery houses in my career.

This custom wedding band was created especially for my best friend’s partner when they got married. To say he is an ocean-lover is an understatement. This man lives for the ocean - it’s part of their every day life.

This unique custom Engagement Ring features an almost 3ct Australian Pink Zircon with Champagne diamonds and Argyle Light Pink Baguette Diamonds on the shoulders. The subtle pink of the stones changes under different lighting conditions. It is really quite incredible. And it is such a pleasure working with such amazing clients. I also recently had the privilege of making an accompanying wedding band, with stunning Natural Fancy Grey Diamonds set in 18ct White Gold.

This commission was very special to me, as it was a couple of our very close friends who got engaged. My friend has been one of my biggest supporters from the beginning, and she had been sending me pictures of my work for years, saying: ‘ooh I like this one’ and ‘this one! This one!’. This was great, as when her partner approached me to design the engagement ring, I had loads of research on what she would want- ready to go.

This fiery explosion of beautiful red gemstones is set in 18ct Rose Gold. Featuring a stunning 1.66ct Spessartine Garnet, surrounded by a mix of Padparadscha Sapphires, Orange Sapphires and two Orange Diamonds in cluster style, this design is a contemporary twist on a classic.

This stunning earring set was created for a very special woman’s 21st Birthday gift. Featuring Australian Sapphires and Opals, as well as Aquamarine (her birthstone) and Alexandrite, this multi-functional set was made in 18ct White Gold.

My clients came to me with this gorgeous Pear Shaped Australian Parti Sapphire. She also had the most beautiful sketches that she had made, and together we worked off one of those, and we were all very happy with the end result.

Tradition meets innovation in this Salt and Pepper Diamond Cluster Ring. First glance reveals a mosaic of diverse and captivating textures. The focal point, remarkable salt and pepper diamonds, evokes an aura of mystery and natural allure. Salt and pepper diamonds are celebrated for their distinctive inclusions that create an ethereal smattering of dark and light speckles, resembling a starry night sky. This characteristic ensures each diamond is completely unique.

I just loved working with these lovely clients, who are both talented musicians - to create this cluster ring with Green Australian Sapphires. Set in 18ct Yellow Gold, this ring is a composition - combining the beauty of nature with the craftsmanship of the finest artisans.

I just loved working with my client to create this incredible re-design of her existing engagement ring. A spectacular explosion of gemstones with forest green Australian Sapphires and crystal clear White Diamonds creates a harmonious cluster that makes me peaceful just by gazing at it - like I’m gazing at a swaying forest in the wind.

These earrings were crafted with mesmerising Australian Pearls and Blue Australian Sapphires. I don’t get to work with beauties from the ocean like these often. So I was delighted when my client came to me with pearls that were gifted to her.

This 15.32ct Aquamarine from Madagascar is truely a showstopper. It is framed with a double floating halo of diamonds in 18ct White Gold.

These elegant, handcrafted earrings were created to mark the 20th wedding anniversary of close friends of mine. Inspired by the traditional 20th anniversary gifts—Porcelain, Emerald, and Platinum—I set out to craft a design that would weave together all three materials in a meaningful and beautiful way.

A stunning Teal Blue Emerald Cut Australian Sapphire was the inspiration and the centrepiece behind this stunning engagement ring. My client liked my Hybrid Collection, and wanted a design that was inspired by that.

My client came to me with a collection of old jewellery. Pieces that had been loved, worn, and tucked away over time. Among them were beautiful Sapphires and Diamonds, rich in sentiment and ready for a fresh chapter.

This bespoke Engagement Ring carries the soul of a bygone era, infused with contemporary elegance. Originating from a 100-year-old Art Deco ring that belonged to my client’s Great Grandmother, its history is rich and its legacy profound.
